By sponsoring a family at our drop-in, you provide critical support for asylum-seeking families. Your donation ensures they receive cash support, meals, toiletries, and activities for children.
Asylum Support Allowance
The UK Home Office provides asylum seekers with a weekly allowance of £49.18 per person for food, clothing, and toiletries. If accommodation with meals is provided, this is reduced to £8.86. However, this allowance often doesn’t cover the full cost of living, especially in London.
How Your Donations Helps
Sponsoring a family for £90 per month (for 80 families) covers:
- £45 cash support per family
- Hot meals, toiletries, and nappies
- Children’s activities and supplies
